In her

pilot
assignment
as a
naval
aviator,
she has
performed
water
rescues
and law
enforcement
interdictions
throughout
South
Florida
and the
Bahamas.
Hailing
from CO
she has
been
flying
for ten
years,
beginning
with
single
engine
Cessna's.
She also
holds a
Bachelors
of
Science
Degree
in
Aviation
Technology
and
Management
from
Metropolitan
State
College
of
Denver.

Alex
Major
Alex is
an elite
USCG
Rescue
Swimmer.
He has
helped
to
interdict
drugs
and
illegal
immigration
from
South
America,
attended
the USCG
Airman
Training
Program/Rescue
Swimmer
School
in April
2007 and
graduated
as an
Aviation
Survival
Technician
in
February
2008.
He's
been
stationed
at Air
Station
Kodiak
in
Alaska
and is
currently
serving
a second
tour of
duty at
Air
Station
Miami.
He holds
his
Advanced
Open
Water/Rescue
Diver
Certifications.

Zachary
Wiest
LTJG
Weist is
an an
elite
USCG
Rescue
Swimmer.
He is
serving
his
first
operational
tour at
Air
Station
Miami
flying
the
MH-65C.
He is
from
Pennsyvania
and
holds a
B.S. in
Criminal
Justice,
enjoys
sailing,
and is
dive
certified.
He has
performed
day and
night
rescues
including
multiple
dive and
persons
in the
water
cases
throughout
Florida
and the
Caribbean.
Sheri
Daye
Sheri is
a
Freedive
Spearfishing
National
Champ,
multiple
world
record
holder,
and host
of
Speargun
Hunter
on
Outdoor
Channel.
She is
hosting
The Blue
Wild
Dive and
Travel
Show
with the
support
of
speakers,
friends,
and
volunteers
who have
stepped
in to
help,
and she
hopes

Greg
Logue

Capt.
Greg
Logue
started
in EMS
while
serving
as a
combat
medic
in the
US
Army's
elite
10th
Mountain
Division
and as a
critical
care
flight
medic
with
LifeFlight
at
Miami
Children's
Hospital.
Capt.
Logue is
certified
as an
Air
Deployable
Rescue
Diver,
HazMat
Technician,
and
Haz-Tox
Paramedic.
He is a
Paramedic
instructor
at
Miami-Dade
College,
as well
as, the
Lead
Haz-Tox
instructor
at MDFR.
He has
most
recently
been
involved
in
working
with the
NFL and
NCAA,
advancing
emergency
care for
injured
athletes.
Greg
holds a
50-ton
captain's
license
and is
an
active
sailor
and boat
owner.
Randy
Jordan
Randy
Jordan
has been
an avid
and
active
diver in
South
Florida
for more
than 30
years.
When he
saw
first
hand the
advance
of the
invasive
Lion
Fish, he
invented
the
Lion
Tamer to
help
eradicate
the
beast.
Randy
now
works
with
scientists
to study
Lion
Fish and
helps
educate
the dive
society
about
Lion
Fish.
Phil
Rudin
Phil
began
taking
underwater
photographs
while in
the US
Navy and
is now a
freelance
writer
and
travel
photographer.
Phil
retired
from the
WPB
Police
Department
where he
was Dive
Team
Commander.
He has
traveled
the
world to
pursue
his
passion
for
underwater
photography,
and his
images
have
appeared
in
magazines
such as
Popular
Science,
Underwater
Photography
Magazine,
Reflections,
Scuba
Diving,
Underwater
Journal,
Skin
Diver,
and
more.
Phil
teaches
underwater
photography
workshops
for US
Dive
Shows,
Hasselblad

Mexican

Martin
Stepanek
is a
freediving
pioneer
having
gone
to
depths
never
before
–
over
400
feet
on a
single
breath
of
air.
He
is one
of the
top
freedivers/trainers
in
the
world
claiming
over
13
World
Records.
Martin’s
passion,
dedication,
and
background
in
human
physiology
has
pushed
his
F.I.I.
curricula
to
the
forefront
of
freediving
education.
A
native
of
Czech
Republic,
Martin
resides
in
Fort
Lauderdale.

Dave
Earp

Dave
Earp, of
South
Florida,
was a
commercial
lobsterman
for over
ten
years.
He is
also an
accomplished
tech
diver
and one
of the
first
divers
to be
Trimix
certified
in the
state of
Florida.
He
brings
his vast
lobstering
experience
to help
explain
effective
catching
and
handling
techniques.
He will
also
share a
wealth
of
information
regarding
a
typical
lobster’s
life and
some of
their
mysterious
habits:
what
they
consume,
how they
reproduce,
where
they
move to.
He will
also
educate
about
all the
native
species
in
Florida
and what
the
applicable
laws
are.
Cathy
Sisco
Cathy,
an
author
of
marine
life
books
for
children,
has six
books
for ages
5 to 8
and ages
8+
published
with
many
more
waiting
in the
wings.
Formerly
a
teacher
and now
a
writer,
Cathy
looks
under
the sea
for
characters
and
backdrops
that
provide
the
greatest
entertainment.
Several
years
ago,
Cathy
moved to
Austin,
Texas
from
South
Florida
for
work.
She
didn’t
know
then
that she
had sand
in her
shoes.
Feeling
“landlocked”,
she
quickly
moved
back to
South
Florida
and
started
her
writing
affair
with the
sea and
the
magnificent
creatures
living
in it
Hank
Juntunen
and
Gauge
Hank and
Gauge
work for
the FWC
Law
Enforcement.
They
have
been
working
together
for 1 ˝
years
and
completed
an
intense
480-hour
police
K-9
training
academy.
Gauge, a
2 ˝ year
old
black
lab, is
certified
by the
United
Police
Canine
Association
in
tracking
and game
detection.
Hank is
a
dedicated
FWC
employee
and also
an
accomplished
freediving
spearfisherman.
He has
placed
high
enough
at
Nationals
to
attend
the last
Worlds
competition
as an
alternate
on the
US men's
team.
Hank and
Gauge
will
perform
a
special
K-9
demonstration
on game
detection.
Lt. Dave
Bingham
Lt. Dave
Bingham
has been a
Florida
conservation
law
enforcement
officer
for
twenty-one
years.
He
started
his
profession
with the
Florida
Marine
Patrol
during
the mid
80's and
was a
dive
team
leader
in the
early
90's,
conducting
underwater
crime
scene
investigations
and
assisting
with
reef
damage
assessments.
His
agency
deals
with
inland
and
marine
related
conservation
issues
and
enforcement,
as well
as all
types of
boating
safety
regulations.
He is
especially
good at
clarifying
any
questions
regarding
spearfishing
regulations
in
Florida.

Nikole
Ordway
Nikole
is from
San
Diego
and
started
diving
at 12.
She
joined
the SDSU
Team and
graduated
with a
degree
in
Biology
and
Zoology.
She
worked
as a
dolphin
trainer/dive
supervisor
for the
US
Navy's
Mammal
program
for four
years.
Nikole
has her
Captain's
license
and is
an
accomplished
freediver.
She now
lives in
Ft.
Lauderdale
and is a
PADI
Master
Instructor
working
for
Force-E,
one of
South
Florida's
premiere
dive
shops.
