He

one

the

the

claiming
over
13
World
Records.
Martin’s
passion,
dedication,

background
in
human
physiology
has
pushed
his
F.I.I.
curricula
to
the
forefront
of
freediving
education.

Czech
Republic,
Martin

William Trubridge:
Freediver, World Record Holder, Instructor
William is the world champion and world record holder in unassisted freediving. He was the first human being to dive past 100 meters (330 feet) without the use of fins, weights or any other propulsive aid. In 2010 he also broke the record for Free Immersion, with a 380-foot (116m) rope-assisted dive. He currently trains at Tenerife Top Training Center during the summer and Dean's Blue Hole in the winter, where he operates a freediving school and annual competition both called "Vertical Blue." www.verticleblue.net
Dr. Terry Maas:
Spearfishing Champion, Videographer, Inventor
Dr. Terry Maas is a veteran hunter/freediver. He started diving at 14 years old and has been diving ever since. Terry won the National championship four times and team championship ten times. In 1982, his interests turned to bluewater hunting, and he went on to capture three world record tunas. In 1995, Terry published his first book, BlueWater Hunting and Freediving. More recently, he has used his skills to capture the underwater world on high-definition video and will share some of his thoughts and techniques.
